Miray Cruises, the Istanbul-based cruise company, presents its latest adventure, Life at Sea Cruises, the world's first and only three-year cruise, which will set sail on November 1, 2023. A journey that will seek summer throughout its voyage.
The 42,000-ton vessel will travel more than 130,000 miles, covering 375 ports, 7 continents, and 135 countries.
For this venture, the company has acquired a new ship, the MV Lara, formerly the Aida Aura, which will offer Life at Sea Cruises residents redesigned cabins, a business center with offices, a cigar and wine bar, along with other creative offerings. It will also feature a 24-hour on-call hospital, learning and enrichment lectures, and opportunities to participate in volunteer and philanthropic initiatives.

The first three-year world cruise features an extraordinary itinerary created by Robert Dixon, visiting 13 of the Wonders of the World, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and other fascinating locations. At each port of call, passengers can enjoy several days of leisurely exploration and the freedom to embark on their own adventures.
Before its inaugural departure from Istanbul on November 1, 2023, Miray Cruises will host a series of events and parties, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic, to welcome all passengers. Additional passengers will be able to embark at the ports of Barcelona on November 5 and Freeport (Bahamas) on November 15.
In addition, and in collaboration with The Dive Place in Clermont, FL, and Scuba Diving International (SDI), Miray Cruises will offer the exclusive “Dive Around the World” program, which will offer passengers unparalleled opportunities for underwater exploration and environmental protection.
In this way, passengers embarking on the three-year journey aboard the MV Lara will enjoy the privilege of diving in various locations around the world, while actively participating in coral reef cleanup and other sustainability projects.
The newly created 'The Dive Place at Sea', in partnership with SDI, will coordinate with affiliated dive shops worldwide, ensuring that Life at Sea divers participate in safe, exceptional, and unforgettable experiences in the following destinations:
– Roatán, Honduras, for exciting encounters with whale sharks.
– Koror and Helen Reef in Palau, famous for World War II wreck diving and the enchanting realm of jellyfish.
– Bora Bora, in Tahiti, where crystal clear waters abound with reefs, sharks and manta rays.
– Reykjavik, Iceland, which offers dry suit diving to explore the Silfra fissure and the opportunity to dive between tectonic plates.
Dive Place at Sea will offer advanced and specialty certifications for experienced divers, as well as courses specifically designed for beginners. Diving and snorkeling equipment will also be available for rent, ensuring all guests have access to their aquatic adventures.
