AsCarnival Cruise Line continues to roll out its 2025-26 schedule, the line has announced that in the fall of 2025, Carnival Legend will join Carnival Dream, Carnival Breeze, and Carnival Jubilee in the Port of Galveston and offer a variety of four- to ten-day cruises in the Western Caribbean.
In addition, the Carnival Legend will offer two Panama Canal cruises. Carnival Legend cruises in Galveston go on sale today.
“The deployment of Carnival Legend in Galveston strengthens our already robust portfolio of sailings from Texas, adding more variety to the itineraries offered, as well as another ship option, and more opportunities to cruise to Mexico and other Western Caribbean countries that suit any vacation length,” said Fred Stein, Carnival’s vice president of revenue planning and deployment.
New Carnival Legend cruises scheduled to begin in October 2025:
- Western Caribbean:
From fall 2025 through early 2026, Carnival Legend will alternate between shorter and longer cruises. Among the available itineraries is a five-day sailing that visits Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico. Cozumel is one of Carnival's most popular destinations. Seven new 10-day itineraries visit exotic destinations; ports of call include Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands), Montego Bay and Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Mahogany Bay (Roatán), Belize, and Cozumel (Mexico). Additionally, an eight-day Christmas cruise, scheduled to depart on December 18, 2025, will visit Mahogany Bay, Roatán, Belize, and Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. - Carnival Journeys/Panama Canal:
Before its transfer to Galveston, Carnival Legend will sail on a 16-day Carnival Journeys cruise departing San Francisco on October 6, 2025. The ship will visit Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Puntarenas, Costa Rica, before transiting the Panama Canal and visiting Cartagena, Colombia, before arriving in Galveston. A second 14-day round-trip Carnival Journeys cruise from Galveston departs on February 2, 2026, and visits Montego Bay, Jamaica; Aruba; Curaçao; Cartagena, Colombia; Colón (Panama Canal), Panama; Limón, Costa Rica; and Cozumel, Mexico. Additionally, three 10-day Panama Canal cruises depart on October 27 and December 8, 2025, and March 16, 2026.
The Carnival Legend, with a capacity for 2,124 passengers, is home to many of the iconic venues guests know and love on board - from Guy's Burger Joint to BlueIguana Cantina, the RedFrog and Alchemy bars, as well as WaterWorks Aqua Park and The Punchliner Comedy Club - and offers a variety of accommodation options, including 50 suites and more than 630 balcony staterooms.
