The Celestyal Journey set sail on its maiden voyage through the Aegean last weekend, sailing under the expert hands of veteran captain Angelos Vassilakos.
After departing from Piraeus, Athens, on Saturday, September 2, the first guests of the Celestyal Journey are enjoying their inaugural seven-night “Idyllic Aegean” itinerary, continuing the company’s philosophy of providing guests with a real immersion in the culture of the destination, visiting Thessaloniki, Kusadasi, Heraklion (Crete), Santorini, Mykonos and Milos.

To celebrate Journey's inaugural voyage and showcase the substantial increase in premium balconies on board, Celestyal is extending its special complimentary suite promotion for Journey XD, SJA, and SJB bookings made through October 31, for travel throughout the rest of the year. This includes its award-winning seven-night "Three Continents" itinerary departing on the new ship on October 21, and special 11-, 18-, and 19-night sailings in December (December 16 for the 11- and 19-night sailings, and December 9 for the 18-night sailing, respectively).
