Embarking on the cruise in Eemshaven, Netherlands, on July 11, Jason Liberty, Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, Richard Fain, President of the Royal Caribbean Group, and Barbara Muckermann, President of Silversea, enjoyed a preview of Silver Nova, the most environmentally conscious ultra-luxury cruise ship ever built. In addition to representing a significant milestone in the Royal Caribbean Group’s journey toward Destination Net Zero, Silver Nova and future Nova-class ships will introduce an unprecedented openness to the world and a new vision of luxury at sea.
The Royal Caribbean Group executives were welcomed by MEYER WERFT's managing directors, Jan and Bernard Meyer, and had the opportunity to enjoy an extensive tour of the ship and thank the MEYER WERFT workers for their dedication and hard work.

The Silver Nova is scheduled to set sail on its maiden voyage on August 14, sailing round trip from Fusina (Venice) for seven days. After offering immersive Mediterranean experiences for guests, Silversea's newest addition will cross the Atlantic to the United States, sailing to the Caribbean and Central America, before embarking on the 71-day Grand Voyage of South America 2024 on January 4, 2024.
