Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.today welcomed cruise industry veteran Patrik Dahlgren as the Company's new Executive Vice President of Ship Operations.
Dahlgren will oversee maritime and technical operations, hotel operations, entertainment, cruise programs and safety across the three brands, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, reporting to NCLH's President and CEO-elect, Harry Sommer.
Dahlgren succeeds Robin Lindsay, who will take over as Executive Vice President of Construction and Renovation, overseeing the company's robust construction program and renovation projects.

Dahlgren joins NCLH after spending more than 23 years in leadership roles at Royal Caribbean Group. He also played a pivotal role in the cruise industry's recovery from climate change, serving on the Healthy Sail Panel, a group of world-renowned experts convened through a collaborative effort between NCLH and Royal Caribbean Group. Dahlgren's previous roles with the company also include Vice President of Technical Operations (2014-2016) and Director of Newbuild and Innovation (2011-2013). Prior to joining shore-based management, he spent more than a decade at sea, including serving as captain on a number of cruise ships, giving him firsthand knowledge of the intricacies of ship operations.
