Explora Journeys has created the new Pioneers to recognize and reward travel agencies that have supported the MSC Group's luxury cruise brand from the beginning.
Pioneers is offering one travel agent and one guest an invitation to participate in an exclusive complimentary informational trip between July 17, 2023, and May 31, 2024, along with access to Explora Journeys' special travel agent rates for their private travel. The brand also offers other special benefits to those who refer Explora Journeys to other travel agents. For example, they can earn an additional commission on all new bookings made by the referred travel agent during 2023.
EXPLORA I's inaugural voyage will begin on July 17, 2023, departing from Southampton (United Kingdom) for a 15-night journey through the Norwegian Fjords and the Arctic Circle, ending in Copenhagen (Denmark).

Travel agencies that have booked at least one Explora Journeys cruise during the company's first year of operation automatically receive Pioneer. In recognition of their partnership, they benefit from various tools to provide even more valuable service to their clients.
Travel agencies in the Pioneers can offer the following incentives to their clients:
- 10% discount on the next five trips booked that depart in 2023.
- 5 % discount on the next five trips booked that depart from 2024 onwards.
- In addition, a €100 JEC voucher per person, applicable a maximum of twice per suite, will be given as a gift from the travel agent on the next ten trips.
Travel agencies will be notified of their inclusion in the Pioneers.
