The Port of Cádiz will receive five cruise ships today, carrying 9,165 people, including passengers and crew. Specifically, the ships are carrying 6,386 passengers and 2,779 crew members, who will remain in the city and its surrounding area throughout the day.

It is worth noting that of the five ocean liners currently docked in Cádiz, three fall into the premium or luxury. These are the Star Legend, the World Navigator , and the Spirit of Adventure.
Cruise ships leave a significant economic impact on destinations, and according to the latest study carried out by the Andalusian Regional Government on cruise tourism in the region, the average expenditure per cruise passenger per day in port of call is 40.6 euros, so the annual impact would amount to 19 million euros, not counting the expenditure made by the crew.
