With a dedicated booth available to its members and associate members, MedCruise hosted over 60 meetings and delivered several presentations. During the traditional Mediterranean Trends session, President Figen Ayan updated the industry with the latest statistics, confirming the Mediterranean as the world's second most important cruise traffic region.
MedCruise, the Mediterranean Cruise Ports Association, participated in the successful Seatrade Cruise Global in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from March 27-30. The Association had its own booth at the exhibition, where more than 60 meetings took place between members and industry professionals.
During the event, MedCruise President Figen Ayan participated in a panel entitled Sustainability and Regulation. Ms. Ayan also delivered the keynote presentation, Trends in the Mediterranean, which is always highly valued as it provides an annual overview of the industry's second most visited region.
As part of the highlights of STC Global, Cristina De Gregori, PR, Communication & Marketing Director of MedCruise, represented the Association on a panel called Marketing your Destination, and Valeria Mangiarotti, Technical Environmental Solutions Director, participated in a panel entitled Net Zero or Net Hero.
The 162nd meeting of the MedCruise Board of Directors also took place on Monday, March 27.

During my presentation on Trends in the Mediterranean, we could see how the industry is growing once again and how the Association’s activities have increased. I am particularly proud of the partnerships we are forging with international institutions and organizations to help MedCruise grow in stature and provide more expertise and resources to our members.
