Symphony of the Seas, the Royal Caribbean International ship, has arrived at the Navantia-Cádiz shipyard in Cádiz, Spain, where it will undergo routine maintenance before beginning its European voyages this summer, starting April 16. For 21 days, the Navantia-Cádiz team of experts will carry out work that includes repainting the hull and maintaining the azipods, the exclusive FlowRider surf simulators, and the Perfect Storm trio of high-speed water slides, among other features.
Every Sunday until October 22, the Symphony will offer seven-night cruises departing from Barcelona, including visits to Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Marseille, France; and La Spezia (Florence/Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome), and Naples (Capri), Italy. The ship belongs to the Oasis Class and, since its inauguration in Málaga in 2018, has been a favorite among vacationers thanks to its wide variety of adventures.
The Symphony offers more than 30 bars and restaurants, including Wonderland Kitchen, Jamie's Italian, Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant, and Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, where you can watch live sports or play games with friends.
In addition, for the European season, the onboard dining options feature an even wider selection of European cuisine.

The Symphony of the Seas completes Royal Caribbean's 2023 projects at Navantia, following in the footsteps of the Independence, the Explorer, and the Mariner of the Seas.
Seven Royal Caribbean ships will be in Europe this summer, including Odyssey, Anthem, and Explorer of the Seas. Spaniards can choose from a variety of family vacations to destinations such as the Western Mediterranean, the Greek Islands, and the Adriatic Sea, departing from ports across Europe, including Barcelona, Rome, and Athens, with cruises ranging from two to twelve nights.
