Norwegian Cruise Line has put its new exotic itineraries for the 2024/25 season on sale, including the debut of the Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Sky in Asia, as well as new ports of call in Manama, Bahrain; Rarotonga, Cook Islands; Sokhna, Egypt; and Akita, Japan.
Among the most popular itineraries that can be booked are:
- NCL's first voyage from Ushuaia, Argentina: The Norwegian Star will sail on a 14-day South American voyage to Brazil and Antarctica in March 2025. Guests will sail through Paradise Bay in Antarctica and be able to see glaciers and local wildlife, while appreciating the culture of Puerto Madryn and Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo and Punta del Este (Uruguay), and Sao Paulo (Santos).
- The company's first stop in Bahrain, its first dedicated Middle East cruise: It will offer a seven-day Middle East cruise aboard the Norwegian Sun from Doha, Qatar, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, departing in April 2025. It includes visits to Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Manama (Bahrain), which NCL is visiting for the first time, Dubai, and Sir Bani Yas, the largest island located southwest of Abu Dhabi (UAE).
- Three NCL cruise shipswill make their Asia debuts: The Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Sky will join together for an eight-month season from October 2024 to May 2025, sailing to the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan, including a spring offering of Japanese itineraries. Norwegian Cruise Line will also call at Akita, Japan, for the first time during the Norwegian Sun's 12-day round-trip voyage from Tokyo, embarking in October 2024. Both ships will be joined in the region by the Norwegian Spirit, which will embark on a new repositioning voyage from Australia to Asia on December 7, 2024, followed by its inaugural Asia voyage on December 21, 2024.
- Exclusive Voyages: The company's exclusive voyage offerings, which give guests the opportunity to explore undiscovered destinations, will feature two new consecutive voyages aboard the Norwegian Sky. Departing in December 2024, the ship will offer a 16-day cruise to Africa. Following this, it will offer a 17-day voyage from Mauritius to Singapore with stops in the Seychelles, Maldives, and Zanzibar. On April 19, 2025, the Norwegian Sun will embark on a 16-day cruise from Dubai to Haifa, Israel, with 10 ports of call, including Sokhna, Egypt.
- New Australian Itinerary: The Norwegian Spirit returns to Australia for its third season with a new 14-day itinerary along the Queensland coast, from Sydney to Bali in December 2024. The voyage includes stops in Cairns and Darwin, Australia, as well as an overnight visit to Bali, Indonesia. Additionally, the ship will make its first-ever call in Rarotonga (Cook Islands) in November 2025.
