The executive is leaving her position as director of destination operations management and although she has not announced her new destination, she indicates that it is to start a new professional journey.
Oelmann joined Richard Vogel's team that launched TUI Cruises in 2008 when the joint venture between TUI and Royal Caribbean Group was formed. She was responsible for developing port and land operations, as well as the shore excursions department. She played a key role in the expansion of TUI Cruises, including the introduction of eight new ships. Oelmann has represented the brand at trade shows, conferences, familiarization trips, and association meetings, and has been a regular participant at the International Cruise Summit in Madrid since its inception in 2008.
Denis Wiechert, Vice President of Product Management, will take over the department and will be the contact person at TUI Cruises from now on.
