MSC Cruises will expand its selection of high-end products on board thanks to a wider range of luxury brands and a new partnership with TimeVallée. The two Geneva-based companies aim to bring the "Swiss touch" to the high seas, offering passengers a selection of renowned Swiss watch brands that reflect the country's renowned elegance and quality.
For the first time ever, TimeVallée will be present on a cruise ship, opening aboard the MSC Seascape in November. The TimeVallée boutique will feature an extensive inventory of Maisons , including Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Hublot, IWC, Mont Blanc, Panerai and Tag Heuer. The look and feel of the space will replicate that of other TimeVallée boutiques on land, offering the same unique service, complete with extensive brand storytelling and technical expertise.
Brandon Briggs, Director of Onboard Sales at MSC Cruises, stated: “One of the wonderful things about luxury shopping at sea is that passengers have a lot of time on board. Since cruises typically last at least seven days, passengers can return throughout the voyage, revisiting items they wish to purchase and savoring the luxury experience. As we evolve our ships, we have understood the importance of our retail spaces evolving with them, creating larger, more tailored retail spaces to meet our guests’ needs. TimeVallée’s multi-brand yet retail-focused approach fits perfectly with the experience we want to offer our passengers.”

TimeVallée has 34 stores worldwide, each offering a unique immersive experience for lovers of fine watchmaking.
The inauguration ceremony for MSC Seascape will take place in New York City, at a grand event to be held on December 7, 2022. The new ship will offer two different seven-night itineraries departing from Miami, calling at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and Nassau in the Bahamas; San Juan in Puerto Rico; and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic; or calling at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve; Cozumel in Mexico; George Town in the Cayman Islands; and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.
