The launching of the Brilliant Lady, the last of the four ships that Virgin Voyages commissioned from Fincantieri, has taken place at the Sestri Ponente shipyard (Genoa).
The Brilliant Lady, along with its sister ships Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, and Resilient Lady, weighs approximately 110,000 gross tons, is 278 meters long, and has a beam of 38 meters. They offer more than 1,400 cabins designed to accommodate over 2,770 passengers, accompanied by 1,160 crew members. The quality of life on board is guaranteed by the "comfort class" certification, which attests to minimal noise and vibration levels, as well as by extensive use of home automation. Thanks to this, by installing an app on their smartphones, guests can manage a wide range of cabin functions (air conditioning, lighting, opening and closing blinds, music, and television).
This class of ships stands out for its design, as well as for the special attention to energy recovery, with cutting-edge alternative technologies that reduce the ship's environmental impact.
