The Port of Valencia has welcomed the MSC Seascape on its pre-inaugural voyage. This ship, which will become the company's new flagship, will be inaugurated in New York on December 7th as part of MSC Cruises' commitment to the US market.
This port call was intended to celebrate MSC Cruises' growing commitment to both the Port Authority of Valencia and the city itself, with a history of over 18 years of uninterrupted relationship. This summer, Valencia served as the embarkation port for two itineraries aboard the MSC Bellissima and MSC Seaside. In this regard,
Fernando Pacheco stated that “Valencia is one of the key ports for our company in the Spanish market. We have been collaborating continuously for 18 years, bringing cruise passengers from all over the world to Valencia, a charming city and a gateway to the Mediterranean. As part of our ongoing partnership with the city, this summer we will have two weekly departures from MSC Magnifica and MSC Seashore, offering 7-day itineraries in the Western Mediterranean.”
Since 2005, the year the company began operating in the port of Valencia, MSC Cruises has significantly strengthened its presence in the city, which is a gateway to the Mediterranean and one of the main destinations for MSC Cruises ships, one of the shipping companies most loyal to the Port of Valencia.
SUMMER 2023, WITH FLIGHTS FROM VALENCIA
This summer, the city will have two weekly departures from MSC Magnifica and MSC Seashore, the sister ship to MSC Seascape, which will run 7-night itineraries through the Western Mediterranean.
Furthermore, starting this year, Valencia will become one of the Spanish airports offering direct flights for itineraries through Northern Europe aboard MSC Fantasia, departing from Kiel, and Western Mediterranean aboard MSC Sinfonia, departing from Venice.
MSC Seascape will be the second Seaside EVO-class ship and the fourth in the company's Seaside class. The ship is particularly well-suited to the warm, sunny Caribbean climate and will sail to Miami for its inaugural season in the region.
This innovative vessel, 323 meters in length, incorporates significant technological innovations in entertainment and environmental features, and is designed to offer a unique onboard experience, responding to the needs and demands of today's passengers and those of the coming years.
