BC Tours, the company specializing in providing tourist services for cruise ships and part of Alsa, reports the opening of a branch in Portugal, marking a new step in the company's internationalization.
With this opening, BC Tours will be able to provide shipping companies with the same onshore tourist services that it already provides to cruise ships during their stops in Spain at the various ports of Portugal, which receive an increasing number of cruise passengers each year.
To lead the new delegation in Portugal, BC Tours has appointed Liliana Vieira, who has more than 30 years of experience in the tourism sector and 20 in the cruise industry.
Previously, Vieira spent six years as head of shore excursions at BC Tours in Palma de Mallorca, and has also worked in Funchal (Madeira) and Lisbon. With extensive experience in event organization, product development, port calls, and cruise-related operations, she will be the Director of BC Tours in Portugal and responsible for the company's establishment in the country.
BC Tours specializes in providing land-based tourism services within the cruise sector, primarily excursions, transfers, and inbound services, as well as ship agency services, including ship support while in port, berthing requests, and crew assistance. Its clients include the leading cruise lines in the industry.
