Costa Cruises is creating a new concept for North American guests, COSTA by CARNIVAL, which will debut in spring 2023 with the addition of the Costa Venezia to the Carnival fleet. The new ship will be followed by the Costa Firenze, which will join in spring 2024.
Both ships will continue to operate their regular itineraries with Costa until the date of their assignment to Carnival.

Costa will contribute its designer ships, while Carnival will offer its renowned fun, now with Italian flair,” said Mario Zanetti, President of Costa Cruises. “Given the slow restart of operations in Asia and the strong restart of cruising in the U.S., we decided to seize this opportunity to allow our many North American guests to appreciate the unique features of our ships, creating synergies in this important market.”.

There are many ways we plan to create an immersive and fun experience for our guests, with these designer ships and onboard restaurants, shops, and services that will offer Carnival's signature fun and tap into the Italian spirit of our sister line, Costa.”
Costa Cruises is informing its business partners and guests about these changes and will soon announce which ships will replace the Costa Venezia and the Costa Firenze on its itineraries, whose continuity is confirmed.
