Silversea Cruises has unveiled details of the eleventh ship in its fleet, the Silver Nova, scheduled for delivery in 2023. Built with a revolutionary asymmetrical design—a first for the cruise line—the new ship will offer guests entirely new outdoor spaces for an unprecedented openness to the destination, with a reimagined, outward-facing pool deck; an al fresco dining area; and a sky bar offering panoramic views from the stern of the ship.

The asymmetrical design of the Silver Nova has allowed the creation of a pool area and outdoor spaces never before seen on decks 10 and 11:
– The pool deck – Decks 10/11, with ample space for 280 sun loungers and a horseshoe-shaped pool area, offering unobstructed views of the destination from the pool, the adjacent pool bar, and the sunbathing areas. The upper level of the Silver Nova, Deck 11, will offer guests a quieter and more intimate space to relax, with sweeping views of the destination and the sea. At its center, overlooking the port side of the ship, is a whirlpool called The Cliff Whirlpool.
– The Marquee – Deck 10, with two new food and beverage venues: The Marquee, located at the stern of the ship, to port, and with sea views. The open-air dining area will accommodate up to 220 diners, incorporating The Grill and Spaccanapoli.
– The Dusk Bar – Deck 10, the second of two new food and beverage venues, is a new open-air bar offering an elegant space for up to 70 guests to enjoy a drink, with 270-degree panoramic views from the stern of Silver Nova.
Among its eight dining venues, Silver Nova will offer guests a selection of Silversea's signature restaurants. The largest of Silver Nova's restaurants, La Terrazza, will seat 340 guests, with floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the interior, offering panoramic views to connect diners with the destination, while its outdoor terrace will be larger than ever. Atlantide will seat 270 guests and will be the ship's second-largest restaurant, featuring a new interior design. The French restaurant, La Dame, will be more spacious than ever, seating 70 guests with higher ceilings. Taking inspiration from the world's finest sushi restaurants, Kaiseki will maintain its minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic, accommodating up to 40 guests.
The Silver Nova will become the world's first low-emission cruise ship, featuring advanced hybrid technology that uses fuel cells and emits no harmful emissions while in port—a first in the industry. The ship will accommodate up to 728 guests in 13 different suite categories.
In addition to Otium™, the cruise line's Roman-inspired wellness program, and SALT, its immersive culinary offering, Silver Nova will offer guests Silversea's signature level of service and a host of pioneering new features.
