The ship was delivered by the Meyer Werft shipyards in December 2021.
The ceremony and light show were attended by the 3,300 passengers who had already embarked for a two-week itinerary, along with some 350 guests invited to the event.
Aida Cosma begins its repositioning in Palma de Mallorca, arriving on April 23, where it will operate weekly itineraries in the Western Mediterranean until October 29, with stops in La Spezia, Civitavecchia, Ajaccio, and Barcelona.
At the end of the season he will leave for Dubai where he will be based for the winter of 2022/2023.
