When the Arcadia set sail for the Canary Islands on Sunday, March 27, it marked P&O Cruises' full return to service after its operational pause. P&O Cruises President Paul Ludlow said: “We are back sailing and this is cause for celebration, as it is a significant milestone to have all six of our ships back in operation.”.

The Arvia will join P&O Cruises in December as the seventh ship in the fleet. Its maiden voyage will be to the Canary Islands, followed by a winter season of Caribbean fly-cruise holidays from Barbados. The Arvia, which, like its sister ship the Iona, will be powered by liquefied natural gas, will feature numerous sustainable and environmentally friendly innovations and technologies on board.
