Carnival Cruise Line will feature a Miami-themed area aboard the Carnival Celebration, which will arrive at PortMiami this November. Named after the address of Carnival's original headquarters, 820 Biscayne, it will celebrate the culture, architectural styles, and flavors of the hometown where the line was founded in 1972.
On Deck 8, the 820 Biscayne will feature design influences and elements that reflect Miami's laid-back, urban vibe, perfect for relaxing and people-watching or enjoying the fresh sea air and ocean views. Bringing Miami's food and beverage offerings to the fleet, the 820 Biscayne will feature:
- Bar 820: a retro-inspired bar, half indoors and half outdoors, with a "cool vintage" design.
- Deco Deli – designed as a nod to Miami's Art Deco mecca with colorful fonts and signage.
- Miami Slice: to continue offering customers 24-hour pizza, reminiscent of the late-night restaurants on Miami's lively Ocean Drive.
“Miami has been our home for 50 years, and by bringing a new ship to its harbor, we wanted to show a little extra love to the city that helped us become what we are today,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
“We wanted to continue offering our guests the delicious and fun offerings they know and love from Mardi Gras, but with new identities that pay homage to the rich culture of Miami, a city that is so special to all of us,” said Ben Clement, senior vice president of new construction, renovation, and 
product innovation. “Miami is a unique city with many different facets, so we’ve tried to capture all of that at 820 Biscayne, from the tropical vibe and original Art Deco designs that can still be found in Miami Beach today to the modern, urban feel of Brickell, and of course, with a big emphasis on the delicious flavors throughout.”
The Carnival Celebration will be Carnival's second ship powered by a liquefied natural gas (LNG) propulsion system and will feature a roller coaster on the top deck. The Celebration will debut in November from Terminal F at PortMiami.
