Costa Cruises strengthens its commercial structure with the appointment of Luca Di Persio as the new Vice President of Sales in Markets.
In his new role, Luca Di Persio will be responsible for leading the Company's various markets, supporting Costa's growth in the international markets where it operates and focusing on further strengthening relationships with travel agencies to create greater value. Digitalization will be a key element in this process. The introduction of new technological tools specifically designed to improve the quality and distribution of commercial content will help stimulate demand and make the Company's commercial structure increasingly distinctive. In his new role, Luca will report to Roberto Alberti, SVP & Chief Commercial Officer of Costa Cruises.

With extensive international sales experience and a specialization in the hospitality and luxury sectors, Di Persio previously served as Global Director of the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts Group and Global Director of the Mangia's Resorts Spa/HIP Group. He has also been a speaker and scientific director of executive and master's degree programs on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the metaverse economy for the travel and hospitality industry.
