Princess Cruises has named Hotel General Manager Terri Cybuliak as godmother of the Discovery Princess ship. Terri, who currently works aboard the Sky Princess, leads a team of 1,200 crew members within the hotel department. Her primary role is to ensure an exceptional guest experience, encompassing everything from entertainment, food and beverages, housekeeping, and guest services.
Terri joined Princess in 1998 as a Junior Assistant Purser on the original Crown Princess. As Hotel General Manager, she helped launch the Majestic Princess in China and was heavily involved in that ship's planning. With the Sky Princess, Terri became the first female Hotel General Manager at Princess from the start of new construction at the shipyard.

The Discovery Princess was delivered on January 28, 2022, at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. The new ship, with a capacity for 3,660 passengers, is the sixth and final new build of the Royal Class and shares all the spectacular style and luxury of its sister ships: Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess, Majestic Princess, Regal Princess, and Royal Princess.
With a variety of innovative new experiences, guests will enjoy 270-degree panoramic views from the largest balconies at sea in the Sky Suites, relax in ultimate comfort in The Sanctuary, and delight their senses with the diverse dining options offered on board. In addition, Princess' live entertainment will feature captivating shows and West End-style productions that can only be seen at the Princess Theatre, including the new Spotlight Bar. The Discovery Princess also utilizes the latest technologies to reduce fuel consumption, treat wastewater, and support the company's environmental compliance efforts.
