Celebrity Cruises has announced that it will begin year-round sailing in the Mediterranean in 2023, with departures from September 2023 through March 2024 operating continuously. On its inaugural Mediterranean voyage, passengers will experience the new luxury experience aboard Celebrity Infinity while visiting some of the world's most sought-after destinations, including the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Egypt, the breathtaking Acropolis of Athens, and one of the world's oldest cities, Jerusalem.
Celebrity Infinity will be the only Celebrity Cruises ship sailing the Mediterranean year-round, beginning its winter season with 9- and 10-night itineraries where passengers can enjoy the best of the Iberian Peninsula. The departure port for these itineraries will alternate between Barcelona (Spain) and Lisbon (Portugal), and passengers will experience iconic locations along the Mediterranean coast.
From October 2023 through January 2024, Infinity will be based in Barcelona with 11- and 12-night itineraries and, as a special feature, will return to Morocco for the first time since 2008. To close out the winter season, Infinity will return to Greece, the birthplace of Celebrity Cruises. During February and March 2024, travelers can embark on 10- and 11-night itineraries across three continents, visiting some of the world's most revered historical sites and ancient wonders in Egypt and Greece, including the Great Pyramid, the Acropolis in Athens, the Temple of Artemis, and many more.

In addition to the charm of these departures, some cruise itineraries include overnight stays in ports as interesting as Malaga (Spain), Porto (Portugal), Jerusalem (Israel), Alexandria (Egypt) or Athens (Greece), allowing passengers more time in these cities to discover the culture and attractions of each destination.
