MSC Cruises announced today that it is suspending its ships' calls in St. Petersburg, Russia, due to recent events in the region.
The company has confirmed that its top priority is the health and safety of its passengers and crew. Therefore, from the end of May until October, its four ships in the Baltic Sea that call at St. Petersburg on some of their 2022 summer itineraries – MSC Preziosa, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Poesia, and MSC Virtuosa – will cancel all their calls in the Russian city. Currently, no MSC Cruises ship calls at St. Petersburg.
Since the beginning of recent events, the shipping company has been in contact with alternative ports – such as Stockholm, Helsinki or Tallinn – to confirm the calls of its four ships, and will communicate the exact details for each itinerary to travel agents and any passengers affected by these changes, as soon as possible.
MSC Cruises will also update its website, reflecting with maximum transparency the confirmed details of the new itineraries for passengers with a reservation and for those looking for their new holidays sailing through the Baltic capitals.
