February is the month of love, and for the first time, on February 18, 2022, Atlas Ocean Voyages held the first official wedding in Antarctica. The couple exchanged vows on Danko Island during a 15-minute ceremony officiated by the registered marriage officer in the British Antarctic Territory and witnessed by eight other guests. During the current nine-night World Navigator Antarctic expedition, which departed on February 14, Atlas celebrated four weddings and three vow renewals in four days. Known as Happy Ever Atlas, the destination wedding package was complimentary for guests who pre-registered.

Each couple received an official UK marriage license, also recognized by the US government. The World Navigator hosted a ship-wide wedding banquet, as well as separate bachelor and bachelorette parties, to create a unique, complete, and unforgettable celebration. The package also included a wedding cake, digital photos, a welcome program and complimentary gift, personalized invitations, and thank-you cards.
Atlas Ocean Voyages is a luxury expedition and adventure cruise line designed for discerning travelers seeking immersive and unforgettable experiences in remote and captivating destinations.
