VIKAND Solutions, LLC – the global provider of public health and maritime medical operations – announces the appointment of Bo Nylandsted Larsen as Vice President of Commercial Alliances, effective September 1, 2021.

With the responsibility of forging and maintaining strong relationships with VIKAND's growing customer base, including offshore trade, shipping and fishing, cruise lines and sailing, Bo's role encompasses all aspects of collaboration within the industry.

Larsen has over 20 years of global market leadership experience, beginning his commercial career at Scandinavian Airlines before joining Cruise Baltic and Cruise Copenhagen, where he successfully positioned both companies on the global cruise map. For the past seven years, he has held leadership roles at the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and led CLIA’s Global Executive Partner Program, which includes ports, classification societies, technology providers, insurers, satellite providers, and partners located in 60 countries.
“My experience at CLIA is invaluable as I begin working at VIKAND, which already has a strong reputation for leading the way in tackling challenges and creating a safer way to operate at sea,” Larsen said.

Bo has participated in considerable postgraduate educational programs, including best practices in leadership (Harvard Business School), the Stanford Executive Program (Stanford Graduate School of Business), and the Certificate in Business Administration (AVT Institute of Executive Education).
An athlete who loves football, padel and mountain biking, Bo and his beloved family also enjoy the cultural opportunities available in Copenhagen, Denmark, where they live.
