The Harmony of the Seas began its new summer season last Sunday from Barcelona, marking a new milestone in Royal Caribbean's return to the western Mediterranean.

The Oasis-class ship embarked passengers yesterday for the first in a series of seven-night cruises through the Western Mediterranean. Aboard the Harmony, passengers will be able to discover Europe in a unique way, combining cultural, relaxing, and adventurous experiences. From August to October, the innovative ship will depart from Barcelona weekly and call at iconic ports such as Palma before sailing to Italy, where they can discover the art and culture of Florence, visit the world-renowned monuments of Rome, and experience the beauty of Naples and nearby Mount Vesuvius. Passengers can also choose to begin their Italian vacation by embarking from Rome.

Among its most outstanding facilities are the tallest water slide at sea, Ultimate Abyss; the zip line, located 9 decks above the Boardwalk; the iconic FlowRider; a Central Park with more than 20,000 natural plants; as well as an Aqua Theaterwhereyou can enjoy the acrobatic and underwater maneuvers of the artistic team.

Travelers can plan their cruise with peace of mind knowing that Royal Caribbean requires all crew members and adult passengers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Minors can travel with a negative test and must follow other health and safety protocols.
