The M/Y NJORD, a vessel designed to meet the strictest environmental standards both upon delivery and in the future, is powered by state-of-the-art dual-fuel engines, with capacity for MGO and LNG tanks, batteries for hybridization, heat recovery systems, and advanced energy management systems. To ensure the vessel is future-proof, the engines and fuel tanks will be designed for easy conversion to utilize future fuels with a lower or neutral carbon footprint.
