Officers and staff aboard Crystal Endeavour welcomed their first guests in Reykjavik, Iceland, for the expedition yacht's maiden voyage, a 10-night circumnavigation of Iceland. The inaugural voyage is the first in a series of five luxury round-trip Iceland expeditions from Reykjavik, exploring Iceland's fascinating and spectacular locations and offering expedition experiences, from Zodiac adventures to kayaking excursions, directly from the ship.

The 20,200-gross-ton Crystal Endeavour is the most spacious, fastest, and most powerful expedition ship in the industry and the first “Made in Germany” polar-class luxury expedition yacht to boast a PC6 classification, allowing it to sail in Arctic and Antarctic waters. With the most space per guest of any ship at sea and designed to offer discerning travelers elegantly spacious private and public areas, the ship accommodates only 200 guests in 100 well-appointed, butler-serviced suites—among the largest and most spacious on expedition cruise ships. The one-to-one staff-to-guest ratio ensures the personalized and genuine service for which Crystal is renowned.
All ports of call on Crystal Endeavour's Iceland voyages include complimentary excursions led by expert naturalists from the ship's expedition team, such as kayaking through the waters of the Westfjords in Patreksfjörður, a walk along the Arctic Circle on Grimsey Island, and a Zodiac cruise through mountainous landscapes in Djúpivogur. 
Crystal Endeavour's expedition leaders and guides for its Iceland voyages include a marine biologist, an ornithologist, a geologist/glaciologist, a historian, two professional photographers specializing in polar expeditions, and an artist who will instruct and encourage guests to capture memories of the trip with sketches and instant drawings.
The Crystal Endeavour departs for its maiden voyage with fully vaccinated passengers and crew. Due to the mandatory vaccination requirement, guests are free to explore Iceland independently on land.
As part of its ongoing commitment to responsible cruising through its Crystal Pristine program, the company has equipped the Crystal Endeavour to connect to shore power while in port and cleans exhaust emissions through a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. The vessel is also equipped with dynamic offshore positioning capabilities, allowing it to remain in one place using GPS and its propellers, rather than anchoring, thus avoiding any potential damage to delicate reefs.
