Princess Cruises has introduced “Dine My Way”, another “Medallionclass” enhancement that makes it easier for passengers to better plan and tailor their onboard dining experiences by combining the on-demand service of “OceanNow” to offer the ultimate in onboard dining flexibility and convenience.

“Dine My Way” gives passengers the freedom to make reservations at both traditional and specialty restaurants at their chosen times and with their preferred company. “Dine My Way” also helps optimize capacity in onboard restaurants, manage wait times, and offers passengers incredible flexibility.
When making a reservation, customers will be able to:
- Add additional friends or family members you are traveling with.
- Select your preferred eating pace (relaxed or fast)
- Please indicate your desired location in the restaurant (near the window, near the entrance)
- share dietary preferences and allergen information.
- choose the same table and dinner time every night.
“We believe our guests will love the level of control and personalization that ‘Dine My Way’ offers,” said Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises. “Instead of restricting dining options during the pandemic, we’ve been able to expand the choices for our guests, and thanks to the new and innovative capabilities of the OceanMedallion device, we can reduce wait times by eliminating lines at restaurant entrances.”.
In addition, the OceanNow app's à la carte menu has been expanded to include main courses and beverage options from the restaurants, allowing passenger orders to be delivered directly to their chosen establishment. OceanNow orders can be placed using the app included with the MedallionClass device via a smartphone, through the cabin television, or by having a crew member place the order on the passenger's behalf.
“OceanNow” will also include many expanded customization options so passengers can order their favorite coffee, select ingredients for their steak sauce and choose pizza toppings, providing more personalization than ever before.
“Passengers have always appreciated the convenience of OceanNow, and because the pandemic has expanded people’s use of on-demand delivery services, we believe even more passengers will choose the option to order what they want and have it delivered wherever they are on board,” said Mario Siebaldi, Senior Vice President of Guest Experience at Princess Cruises. “It not only avoids unnecessary queues, but more importantly, it enhances the passenger experience.”
Princess “MedallionClass holidays” is enabled by the award-winning “OceanMedallion”, a wearable device that combines innovation and drives improvement by significantly personalizing the passenger experience.
In addition to on-demand service, Princess MedallionClass vacations also feature streamlined embarkation and disembarkation, contactless payments, and keyless entry to staterooms. Additional contactless capabilities accessible via smartphones and tablets include searching for and locating family and friends, as well as interactive entertainment.
