Metalships & Docks has delivered the Sea Cloud Spirit to its owner, Sea Cloud Cruises, following its completion at the shipyard over the past few months. Measuring 138 meters in length and 17 meters in beam, this ultra-premium sailing cruise ship can accommodate 90 crew members and 138 passengers across its five decks. The vessel offers 69 passenger cabins, 25 of which have private balconies, and 49 crew cabins, making it the second largest ship of its kind in the world.
The 'Sea Cloud Spirit' represents environmentally friendly tourism at the highest level, offering guests much more open space with five decks, a spacious sun terrace, an exclusive wellness and spa department, a gym with sea views, and a bistro-style restaurant on the main deck. Its elegant interior design, combined with a classic yacht aesthetic, further enhances its appeal,” the shipyard emphasizes.
With a length of 130 meters and a beam of 17.2 meters, it is a three-masted schooner capable of deploying a sail area of 4,165 square meters, which is supported by a diesel-electric propulsion system that allows it to reach a speed of 14.2 knots, thus complying with emissions and environmental protection requirements.
