Princess Cruises has just announced its 2022-2023 season with exciting offerings to Mexico, the California coast, and Hawaii and Tahiti. On sale April 28, 2021, a total of six ships, including the cruise line's newest ship, the Discovery Princess, offer 78 sailings on 19 unique itineraries sailing round-trip from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver.
The Crown Princess, Discovery Princess, Grand Princess, Majestic Princess, Ruby Princess, and Sapphire Princess will visit 25 destinations in six countries. All ships offer the Princess MedallionClass Experience, the ultimate in personalized, contactless cruising.
Princess has been sailing to Mexico for over 55 years, bringing passengers the best of the Mexican Riviera, highlighting the warm, sunny weather, rich and diverse culture, and exotic flavors of the region. The 2022-23 season features:
- Four MedallionClass ships – Discovery Princess, Crown Princess, Ruby Princess and Sapphire Princess
- Eight destinations in two countries including Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas.
- 29 departures in total with four unique itineraries, ranging from five to 10 nights.
- The Discovery Princess returns for its second season on the West Coast, offering five- and seven-night round-trip cruises from Los Angeles.
- Each five-night cruise includes a one-night stay in Cabo San Lucas.
- The Ruby Princess will be offering 10-night cruises along the Mexican Riviera, making round-trip cruises from San Francisco.
- The Sapphire Princess and the Discovery Princess will offer 10-night cruises around the Baja California Peninsula and a round-trip Sea of Cortez cruise from Los Angeles, California.
Princess Cruises is the only cruise line offering regular cruises along California's iconic coastline, bringing laid-back lifestyle, food, wine, and scenic beauty to guests through a variety of itineraries. Every cruise from San Francisco sails under the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, a unique and memorable experience only possible from a ship. In fact, Princess ships will sail under the Golden Gate Bridge a total of 64 times this season. Program highlights include:

- Overnight stays on round-trip cruises allow guests time to explore popular cities such as San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, and Victoria.
The only cruise line offering a full season of round-trip cruises from the mainland, Princess offers departures from Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Vancouver. Highlights include:
- Three MedallionClass ships – Crown Princess, Ruby Princess and Sapphire Princess.
- 13 destinations in six countries, including the ports of Maui (Lahaina), Hilo (Hawaii), Oahu (Honolulu), Kauai (Nawiliwili) and five Pacific Islands, including Moorea and Bora Bora.
- 21 total departures in four unique itineraries, ranging from 15 to 28 nights.
- Fifteen-night round-trip cruises visiting Kauai, Oahu (Honolulu), Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii departing from three domestic ports: Los Angeles (Crown Princess and Sapphire Princess), San Francisco (Ruby Princess), and Vancouver (Crown Princess). Most cruises include an overnight stay in Honolulu, allowing guests to experience island life, including a traditional Hawaiian luau.
- The popular 28-night cruise to Hawaii, Tahiti, and Samoa returns with round-trip cruises from Los Angeles aboard the Crown Princess, featuring an overnight stay in Bora Bora and overnight stays in Honolulu, Papeete, and Moorea.

Princess Cruises also recently expanded its "Book with Confidence" policy, which now allows guests the flexibility to change their vacation plans up to 30 days before departure, receiving the corresponding cancellation fee as a credit toward a future cruise. This flexible booking option is available for any cruise booking made through June 30, 2021, for cruises departing through December 31, 2021.
