Cunard is set to celebrate the centenary of its first round-the-world cruise and the first circumnavigation by a passenger liner with two of its round-the-world voyages in 2023 aboard the Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Elizabeth.
These unique cruises will repeat some of the stops that Cunard's first round-the-world cruises made aboard ships such as the RMS Laconia and RMS Samaria, as well as stopping at today's most unique destinations.
The destinations of the 102-night Grand Centenary Cruise aboard the Queen Mary 2 will include stops such as Colombo, Singapore, and Hong Kong, emulating the sailing aboard the RMS Samaria of 1923. The cruise also includes overnight port calls in Dubai, Sydney, and Cape Town.
The 101-night Grand Centennial Cruise aboard the Queen Victoria will visit the ports of call made by the RMS Laconia in 1922. 23 ports of call including Hong Kong, New York, Singapore, Cabo San Lucas, Colombo, San Francisco, Hilo, Honolulu, Manila and Naples, as well as visits to Aruba, Jordan, Tonga and a full transit of the Panama Canal.
Guests can enjoy a program of exclusive events and parties, both on land and on board, with entertainment and dining in restaurants that reflect each region of the world visited. In addition to Cunard's Centenary World Cruises, both Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria cruises can be booked in segments ranging from 2 to 40 nights.
Exploring the world like the other two “Queens,” the Queen Elizabeth will enjoy a season in Australia with a choice of two 28-night cruises departing from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, and Auckland.
These centennial Cunard cruises are part of Cunard’s Winter 2022/23 program, available for purchase from March 17, 2021.
