Following the recent announcement of Sycamore Partners' agreement to acquire Azamara, a deal expected to close during the first quarter of this year, Sycamore Partners is announcing the expansion of Azamara's existing fleet with the acquisition of the Pacific Princess, which joins the Azamara Journey, Azamara Quest, and Azamara Pursuit. Prior to its launch, the Pacific Princess is scheduled to be renamed and completely refurbished to match its sister ships, offering guests a boutique hotel experience at sea and commencing its inaugural season in Europe in 2022.
“The addition of this ship is a significant milestone and reflects Sycamore Partners’ commitment to supporting Azamara in its next phase of growth,” said Stefan Kaluzny, Managing Director of Sycamore Partners. “Expanding the fleet will allow Azamara to continue serving loyal customers, as well as new ones, with more exclusive programs and itineraries.”
