The Mein Schiff 6 is back in service with 7-day cruises departing from Heraklion, Greece, and German passengers arriving on charter flights. It joins the Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2, which were the first major cruise ships to resume operations after the coronavirus pandemic, departing from Kiel and Hamburg respectively.
TUI Cruises has expressed its deep gratitude to the Greek authorities, both local and national, in Heraklion, Piraeus and Corfu, without whose collaboration this return to service would not have been possible.
The German shipping company continues to work closely with various destinations around the world to resume operations with all its ships.
