With the aim of building passenger confidence and inspiring them to continue planning their next vacation, Norwegian Cruise Line, the innovative cruise line with a history of more than 53 years breaking the boundaries of traditional cruising, has announced the extension of the benefits of its "Peace of Mind" cancellation policy throughout 2021.
Guests who booked their cruise before August 31, 2020, with embarkation dates from January 1, 2021, through October 31, 2021, now have the flexibility to cancel their trip 15 days prior to departure through the “Peace of Mind” policy. As part of this update, passengers will receive a 100% refund in the form of a future cruise credit that can be used to book any voyage through December 31, 2022. “Peace of Mind,” which also allows travelers to cancel 48 hours before embarkation in 2020, was launched last March to address the needs of passengers during these unusual times.
“Now more than ever, travelers are looking for freedom and flexibility, and that’s what Norwegian Cruise Line is all about,” explained Kevin Bubolz, Managing Director for Europe at Norwegian Cruise Line. “Our ‘Guests First’ philosophy compels us to put guests at the heart of every decision, which is exactly what we’re doing by allowing them to cancel very close to their embarkation date. We understand the uncertain times we’re living in, so it’s even more important that guests know we have their best interests at heart,” he noted.
Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced the opening of more than a year of itineraries, from 2021 to 2023, with trips to more than 20 new ports of call on all seven continents.

With all itineraries suspended until October 31, 2020, we are taking the time to focus on health and safety standards so we can continue to innovate and lead the market, as we have done for the past 53 years,” he emphasized.
