Kyriakos (Kerry) Anastassiadis has been appointed Advisor for Institutional and Maritime Affairs at MSC Cruises, acting as a liaison with public authorities and regulatory bodies.
Before joining MSC Cruises, he was CEO of the Greece-based cruise line Celestyal Cruises. In 2017, Kerry was appointed European Chairman of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), where he actively advocated for the cruise industry before European Union institutions and other public authorities across Europe.
Previously, he held a number of senior executive positions as Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at several internationally renowned corporations, including The Coca-Cola Company, Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company, Polaroid and Procter & Gamble, working across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in southern Africa, Kerry earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and finance from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and a postgraduate degree in market research and advertising.
