Luxury cruise line Ponant Cruises will be offering 7-night cruises to Iceland during July and August 2020. The cruise line will have weekly departures from Reykjavik starting July 13th and running through the summer until August 26th, aboard its new yacht, Le Bellot.
Le Bellot is the fifth of eight expedition yachts that will complete the Ponant Cruises fleet in 2022, having been launched last March. It can accommodate 184 passengers in its 94 suites and is equipped with six Zodiacs for exploring the ports.
The Icelandic itinerary visits locations with spectacular landscapes, volcanic beaches, dramatic cliffs, icebergs, and hot springs in Snaefellsjökull National Park, Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, Grímsey, Eastfjords, Vatnajökull National Park, Vestmannaeyjar, and Reykjavík. This exclusive cruise offers the opportunity to take guided Zodiac excursions, cross the Arctic Circle, and observe whales, orcas, seals, and puffins.
