Tradewind Voyages, the new UK-based cruise line, has unveiled the 2021 itineraries for its ship, the Golden Horizon.
The company will operate the sailing ship Golden Horizon, with a capacity for 272 passengers and a crew of 159, starting with itineraries around the United Kingdom in April and May 2021. After 9 cruises departing from the UK, seven from Harwich and two from Glasgow, it will head to Bali to offer itineraries in Indonesia, Australia, Japan and Alaska.
Northern European itineraries from the UK will visit Denmark, Iceland, the Norwegian fjords, and the Baltic republics on 7, 10, 11, 14, and 21-day cruises. In September 2021, the Golden Horizon will sail the Mediterranean and head to Bali via the Suez Canal, following the ancient Silk Road.
Tradewind Voyages will be led by Stuart McQuaker, former chief operating officer of Saga Cruises, Jeremy McKenna will be the sales and marketing director, while Amanda Norey will be the marketing and distribution director and Oliver Hammerer will be the product director.

Although Golden Horizon has an engine, it is expected to sail using its 6,300 square meters of sail whenever possible, especially on longer routes.
Tradewind Voyages plans to add new ships to its fleet in the coming years.
