Josh Leibowitz is leaving Carnival Corp. & plc to become president of Seabourn, succeeding Rick Meadows, who retired from the position last May. Reporting to Stein Kruse, CEO of Holland America Group and Carnival UK, Leibowitz will be responsible for overseeing all operations, including revenue management, itinerary planning and implementation, hotel operations, as well as marketing and sales.
Kruse commented, “Leibowitz brings extensive experience and knowledge that will further strengthen Seabourn’s market position.” He added, “I am confident that Josh will help lead Seabourn through the challenges currently facing the travel industry to build a unique ultra-luxury travel brand.”
Leibowitz worked as a managing partner in the Miami office of the consulting firm McKinsey & Co and in 2013 joined Carnival Corp. & plc as director of strategy and was also appointed senior vice president of Cunard North America in December 2016.
