SeaDream set sail from Oslo on Saturday, June 20, on its first cruise to Norway, becoming the first luxury cruise line to resume operations after the pause since last March 2020.
SeaDream's Norwegian cruises have been very well received from the start. Initially, the company had planned to sail in Norway with a single ship, SeaDream I, offering nine cruises, but after strong demand, the company decided to expand its offerings with cruises aboard SeaDream II.
Thanks to their size, SeaDream's superyachts can quickly adapt their itineraries to comply with government regulations, but also visit exclusive destinations inaccessible to other ships. SeaDream chose Norway this summer due to its extremely low COVID-19 incidence, and the destinations were selected by SeaDream CEO and Founder, Atle Brynestad.
