CLIA Spain brought together more than 30 of its executive partners in a virtual meeting where its National Director, Alfredo Serrano, provided an update on CLIA's activities at the national level. Also participating from CLIA Europe were Julie Green (Strategic Communications) and Nikos Mertzanidis (Government Affairs).
It was also noted that there is still no clear date for the resumption of cruise operations, despite ongoing discussions with the relevant authorities to reach a consensus and establish protocols that will allow the resumption of cruise traffic in Spain, prioritizing safety and public health.
The director of CLIA Spain wanted to end with an optimistic message, hoping that we might see some cruise ships sailing in Spanish waters this summer.
