Silversea has made the decision to update the dates on which its cruises will resume sailing, taking into account the safety and well-being of its passengers and crews, which will be from August 2020.
The dates are as follows:
- Silver Cloud, on October 28, 2020, with its 19-day cruise from Lima (Callao) to Ushuaia, a journey full of experiences, withmiles of sandy coastline, exceptional food and wine pairings, UNESCO World Heritage sites and undoubtedly some of the best views on earth.
- Silver Wind, on November 11, 2020, with its 10-day round-trip cruise to and from Ushuaia, visiting the great white continent of Antarctica, with its colonies of penguins, seals, sea lions and a wealth of wildlife.
- Silver Shadow, on September 13, 2020, with its 11-day cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona, visiting places ofgrand architecture, enjoying days at sea, beautiful landscapes and delicious gastronomy.
- Silver Spirit, on September 3, 2020, with its 11-day cruise from Copenhagen to London (Greenwich) with stops in Hamburg, Amsterdam, Zeebrugge, Honfleur, and Portsmouth.
- Silver Muse, on September 10, 2020, with its 13-day cruise from Seward (Anchorage, Alaska) to Tokyo, withdays of sailing that provide great opportunities for observing the spectacular marine mammal life.
- Silver Whisper, on September 8, 2020, with its 16-day cruise from Barcelona to New York,sailing across two continents and one ocean, with stops in Spanish and Portuguese ports such as Malaga and Funchal before enjoying four days of sailing towards the American continent.
- Silver Explorer, on October 20, 2020, with its 11-day cruise from Fort Lauderdale (Florida) to Colón, with stops at Harbour Island, Exuma, Port Antonio, Cayman Brac, Providencia Island, San Andrés, Puerto Limón and Bocas del Toro.
- Silver Moon, on October 2, 2020, with its 10-day cruise departing from and returning to Venice, sailing along the Adriatic coast.
- Silver Origin, on August 22, 2020, with its 7-day Galapagos Islands expedition cruise, from Baltra to San Cristóbal, visiting spectacular places that captivated Darwin so much: pelicans and penguins, green turtles, marine iguanas, sea lions, manta rays… lush mangroves and crystal clear waters.
Passengers with canceled cruise reservations will receive a 125% refund of the cruise fare in the form of a Future Cruise Credit (FCC), which can be redeemed for any future cruise and is valid for two years from the date of issue. This credit can be used to upgrade future cruises by choosing a longer itinerary or a cabin upgrade. Future Cruise Credits are transferable to family and friends, and can be used partially and applied to more than one new booking.
Silversea Venetian Society members will earn VS days on Silversea's cancelled voyages from March 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020, as well as on the new voyage booked with the Future Cruise Credit.
