MedCruise presents its new website

MedCruise has designed a customized, user-friendly online tool that adapts to all devices. Among other technical updates, the new website offers a closer look at Mediterranean cruise destinations, high-quality photos and videos, improved news communication, a useful events calendar, and a private area for members.

MedCruise presents its new website

The website has seven sections, the most notable being the members' section. Each MedCruise member (ports and cruise-related companies) has a fully updated profile with relevant information such as: contact details, history, destination information, tourist attractions, photo gallery, port statistics, port data (mooring, anchorage, docks, etc.), company information, projects, and more.

Another key section is the News section, which regularly publishes the latest information from partners, internal press releases about MedCruise's activities, and relevant news from the cruise industry in the Mediterranean Sea.

The website offers an Events section, essential for MedCruise and its members, which includes all the information about events organized by MedCruise. These include the two Annual General Assemblies (AGs) and the MedCruise Awards, held annually, as well as the Professional Development Course (PDC) exclusively for MedCruise members, held every two years. All updates and information about these events are published in this section. MedCruise provides a platform for its members to represent their industry at major events worldwide. On this new website, members have access to events held globally (in calendar format) along with relevant information for each event, including the program, the organizer's contact person, and the registration link.

The website also features a Publications section, which includes the reports MedCruise publishes annually with useful data on the cruise industry and Mediterranean ports. Highlights of this section include the Annual Statistics Report, the Yearbook (with contact information for each member), and the biannual MedCruise News.

The new online tool includes contact information for the Secretariat team, the Board of Directors, and the President of MedCruise, as well as links to their social media. Another important section features "Latest COVID-19 Updates," providing up-to-date information on the impact of COVID-19 on the Mediterranean cruise industry: the current situation of cruise lines, interviews with the President of MedCruise, and statements from MedCruise, among other topics.

Airam Díaz, president of the MedCruise Association, commented: “I am very proud to present our new website, which highlights the importance of marketing in our Association, in line with the Work Plan approved by our members in Toulon during the 51st MedCruise General Assembly. I would like to thank all the members of the Board of Directors, and especially María Cano, marketing director, and the Secretariat team for this great result.”.

Maria Cano, Marketing Director at MedCruise, stated: “This project marks a new era for MedCruise in terms of marketing and promotion. With the invaluable support of the Secretariat, which has contributed new and innovative ideas, we have developed a responsive and up-to-date website and a more useful tool for our partners, enhancing MedCruise’s standing within the online community. Much of my online marketing strategy is reflected in this project, to the benefit of our partners.”.
