Madrid, March 12, 2020 – Pullmantur Cruises – the only cruise line on the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the cruise experience – is replacing the 5 Wonders of the Mediterranean and Spring Riders Boat routes (the special departure for students) with the Balearic Islands and French Riviera, a new route embarking and disembarking in Barcelona. This change will take effect on the departures of April 4, 11, and 18.
Specifically, on this new route passengers will have the opportunity to visit the islands of Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca, as well as the French Riviera with ports such as Villefranche and Marseille.
In addition, the shipping company has also replaced the route operated by the Horizon ship for May 10, Israel, Greece and the Millennial Cultures, with Greek Islands, one of the shipping company's most established routes.
The company has adopted these decisions following the measures taken by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other health authorities, and as a consequence of the concurrence of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances in certain destinations where its itineraries were scheduled.
