Madrid, March 11, 2020. NP – Celestyal Cruises, the leading Greek cruise operator, launches its “Peace of Mind*” policy, which applies to current bookings for travel between today and June 30, 2020. This special measure allows customers to modify their plans up to seven days before departure without incurring cancellation fees, receiving a 100% credit towards a future cruise to be taken during 2020 or 2021. This policy also applies to any booking made from today until April 30, 2020, for travel during 2020-2021. This also includes customers who have their departure scheduled on the seven-night “Three Continents” itinerary from March 14, 2020 or on the four-night “Iconic Aegean” itinerary from March 16, 2020, even though we are already within the seven days prior to the departure date.

To further ensure peace of mind for its customers, Celestyal Cruises has announced it will extend its "Great Cruise Sale" until April 30, 2020. The company is also offering a special onboard spending credit of up to €100 for 7-night cruises to customers who wish to maintain their current vacation plans without changing their original bookings, from now until June 30, 2020. This credit can be applied to additional shore excursions, spa treatments, à la carte menu selections, or dining at the specialty restaurant. The company is also offering a 15% discount on onboard purchases (excluding casino and shop purchases), further extending the onboard spending credit.
“At Celestyal Cruises, we understand that these uncertain times can be unsettling, but we are optimistic and want to allow our guests to feel safe and comfortable continuing with their existing holiday plans or planning future trips, while also understanding that some guests may need to modify their initial plans,” commented Leslie Peden, Chief Commercial Officer. He added, “We believe that our Peace of Mind policy, along with the extended booking period for our Great Cruise Sale with reduced deposits and onboard spending discounts and credits, will reassure our guests and give them the flexibility they need to plan their holidays.”.
Celestyal Cruises is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. The company is in close contact with health professionals and regulatory bodies worldwide, including local authorities, the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
