MSC Cruises has today released new and stunning images of the Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows that can now be seen on board MSC Grandiosa: COSMOS and EXENTRICKS.
In COSMOS, “a journey into the incredible,” passengers experience a breathtaking voyage through the galaxy with a courageous astronaut on a quest for self-discovery. In their new acrobatic performance, “Ginger Rope,” three artists use a unique acrobatic apparatus developed specifically for this show, and aerial specialists gracefully soar across the rotating stage of the Carousel Lounge on moving ropes that represent the rings around the planets.
Meanwhile, with EXENTRICKS, “expect the unexpected,” passengers are completely amazed by the show's impact. A major innovation of this show is that, for the first time in a Cirque du Soleil at Sea production, it places the audience at the heart of the performance, inviting them to play a vital role in the story. In this way, MSC Cruises passengers are closer to the artists than ever before and have the opportunity to experience the acrobatics up close.

Each Cirque du Soleil at Sea show is an original production created solely for MSC Cruises' Meraviglia-class ships. To date, the Cirque du Soleil team has developed six original shows, each pushing creative boundaries to explore new territories and create inspiring and captivating experiences for MSC Cruises.
