The first Quantum Ultra Class ship to arrive in North America, it will introduce all-new features to make the top deck the most fun in the fleet yet, offering a combination of classic hits and innovative offerings that will redefine the cruise vacation experience.
Outstanding adventures aboard the Odyssey of the Seas, a two-level deck pool for relaxing under the sun and stars, as well as a wide selection of restaurants ready to please all palates, coexist with some of the most picturesque landscapes in the world, including the exciting islands of the Caribbean or the idyllic shores of the Eastern Mediterranean.
With something for everyone, the Seaplex stands out, offering high doses of adrenaline and new thrills, friendly competitions, and the most interactive game room at sea. In addition, there's a reimagined Adventure Ocean where young adventurers can choose their own immersive experiences in a redesigned space, while a brand-new teen lounge with consoles, music, and movies provides endless options for hanging out indoors or outdoors on an exclusive patio. In November 2020, the ship's inaugural year, it will begin sailing the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, traveling to remote destinations such as Curaçao, Aruba, Grand Cayman, and Mexico on 8- and 6-night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Odyssey of the Seas will then head to Rome, where it will establish its homeport in May 2021, becoming the first Quantum Ultra-Class ship to offer European itineraries during the summer. On land, travelers can explore historic cities in Turkey and Greece, including UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the ruins of Ephesus, the ancient Acropolis of Athens, and the classical Cycladic architecture of Mykonos, among others. This ship will offer a completely new perspective of some of the world's most legendary coastlines thanks to North Star, the iconic glass capsule perched 360 feet above sea level, offering 360-degree views.

The journey becomes a thrilling adventure for those seeking excitement on the Odyssey. On this Quantum Ultra Class ship is the next-generation SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity space at sea, where all passengers can participate in individual or group activities. It's the most interactive game room ever seen on the upper SeaPlex level, featuring both individual and group virtual reality games, augmented reality walls and floors for high-tech competitions, and family experiences.
Travelers can satisfy their thirst for speed as they dodge and race across a full-size sports field in the only bumper cars at sea or on the flying trapeze. Combining the best of the Quantum Class with new Royal Caribbean favorites, Playmakers Sport Bar & Arcade boasts a prime location within SeaPlex, with TVs at every angle so you can enjoy sporting events while savoring the perfect snack, including buffalo wings, the signature Playmakers Burger, and ice-cold beer. Guests can also enjoy classic board games, head up to the most interactive arcade at sea, play trivia, and billiards. The Owner's Box VIP area is also available for an MVP experience.
Likewise, travelers can create unforgettable memories by catching waves on the FlowRider surf simulator, experiencing the freedom of freefall on the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, or climbing the 12-meter-high rock wall. Adrenaline junkies can feel gravity on the SkyPad, the trampoline that allows them to experience being transported to another time, place, or planet through virtual reality goggles.

The Odyssey 's vibrant, two-level waterfront offers a variety of sunbathing options, including two outdoor pools, a resort-style pool, and four whirlpools surrounded by shaded cabanas and hammocks.
