Vigo received a triple cruise ship call today with the arrival of the Ventura from P&O, the MSC Preziosa from MSC Cruises and the Costa Mediterranea from Costa Cruises, which together have about 8,300 passengers in double occupancy and 3,550 crew members.
The operator Vigo Cruise Terminal deployed a large operation to accommodate the Ventura and the MSC Preziosa at the "Alberto Duran" Terminal on the cruise ship pier and the Costa Mediterranea at the Muelle del Comercio (Commerce Pier), coordinating all actions with the pilots and staff of the Vigo Port Authority. This is the only triple port call of the year and one of the largest in terms of passenger numbers in the city's history.
