Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, an experienced global company that provides shore and port operations services to the ocean and river cruise industry, has invested in its own catamaran, which has been operating in Dubrovnik since the beginning of June 2019.
Called SeaGULL 30, the catamaran was custom-built in 2019 in Perpignan, France, and can accommodate 80 guests and five crew members. The crew is comprised of experienced sailors from Dubrovnik and includes two captains who work full-time for Intercruises. In an effort to be more sustainable, the catamaran sailing trips are conducted under sail whenever possible.
There are currently seven shorex programs operating on the SeaGULL 30, with highlights including:
- Guest pickup directly from the gangway
- Cruise through Dubrovnik's Old Town
- Navigation to the Lokrum or Elaphite Islands
- Swim directly into the sea from the catamaran, which has stairs
“Our beautiful catamaran allows us to offer guests a unique experience in Dubrovnik – something completely different from anything currently available. The first excursion was in June, and since then the catamaran has been operating almost at full capacity.
